The profession of portefeuiller has become very rare in the German-speaking world. The production of leather goods has increasingly shifted abroad. Cheaper and faster is the production here. From the inspection of the leather, to the millimeter-precise cutting of sometimes over 100 individual parts for a traditional bag by hand, the skillful sharpening of the edges on almost historic-looking machines, the meticulous fine-tuning of the thread colors to the final assembly and sewing on specially equipped leather sewing machines, with this team every move is perfect. Unwavering, the two experienced stitchers Ute and Camella let their sewing machines put every single stitch into the leather. Inspired, concentrated and at the same time with the deep relaxation of the true experts, Dirndl bags of the master class are created here.
