IN 1810
In Bavaria
EVERYTHING STARTS
Since the love marriage of King Ludwig I of Bavaria and Queen Therese in 1810, the Oktoberfest has been held in the Bavarian capital of Munich. It is the father of the groom, King Max I Joseph, who ensures that children and young people wear region-specific out-fits for this very special moment of the royal family.

UNIQUE DRESS CODE
COMMITTED TO TRADITION
25 years later, in 1835, the first Bavarian costume parade took place at the silver wedding anniversary of the royal couple. Since then, this historic event has served as a prelude to the annual Oktoberfest.
However, we owe the Bavarian Dirndl to two Prussian brothers from Bielefeld. Moritz and Julius Wallach founded the "Volkskunsthaus Wallach" in 1900, which later became the epitome of traditional out-fits and folk art in Munich. In 1910, they put a lot of effort into out-fits for the annual historic costume parade.
PRUSSIAN SISTERS
DESERVED HONOR
The Prussian brothers became suppliers to the European nobility with their hand-sewn unique pieces. It is their soulful creativity and highest quality that unleashes the worldwide popularity of the Bavarian dirndl.
In close solidarity, the two sisters Maya and Lara started their Dirndlblüte brand for extraordinary, luxurious traditional bags. The sisters spent their childhood in the former Prussian city of Frankfurt and their youth in Munich. Each of the handmade Dirndlblüte dirndl bags is a loving reminiscence of the creativity of their historical role models, the "Prussian Brothers".

HANDCRAFTED
DIRNDL BAGS WITH A SOUL
The exclusive Dirndlblüte design code was developed in cooperation with tanneries, fine bag makers, embroideries and goldsmiths who are all based in Germany and are passionately connected to the craft.
A first-class selection of materials, the masterful quality of the craftsmanship, traditional style elements and a caring, environmentally committed production make the Dirndlblüte traditional bags to extraordinarily luxurious accessories.
